Think about it… you are training your feet to turn out in an unnatural way so when you next attempt them, concentrate on what is happening to your body. It is very important that you learn to understand every muscle and tendon when dancing such a strict discipline. Most ballet dancers know more about their bodies than even top athletes and this stands them in very good stead for monitoring weaknesses or problems.

All of them. In addition to your feet being correctly positioned, there are corresponding arms.

In addition to your leg muscles, having proper posture should work your core muscles (abdominals, lats, obliques)
