Ballet dancers can become famous if they are good and join a ballet company like New York City Ballet. If your’e bad, however, you will not become famous, unless your infamous. So, be a good ballet dancer and you’ll be famous.

good luck!

I wouldn’t say they become famous amung everybody, sadley not alot of people pay attention to ballet and take it seriously. But alot of them do become famous amung other ballet dancers, but not famous like Brad Pitt famous.

Becoming famous in Ballet is really difficult because you have to reach the point of prima ballerina and dance in one of the 6 truly worth while dance companies. Therefore the chances are very slim. To become famous you have to have the drive, technique, and sacrifice a lot. Even if you reach that point you aren’t going to be a household name, but the dance world will know your name for sure.

You basically answered your own question: if you can’t name any ballet dancers, then by definition, they tend not to become famous. Typically, if anyone can name a famous ballet dancer, they’d say Mikhail Baryshnikov.
