i live in a new city where there’s no ballet studio and i plan to buy some dvd/vcd for learning ballet at home, what brand/ teacher/title is good for elementary grade? thx!

There’s a video called the New York City Ballet Workout. It’s geared more towards a workout, but it has the basic ballet moves as the premise. I have it and I like it alot. Also, if you go to http://www.dancemagazine.com, you might find a resources page that would list ballet tapes. Good luck! You’re never too old to dance!
Believe it or not, I have had good luck with Barbie and the 12 Dancing Princesses. The kids are totally absorbed and the correct terms are used so picking up the dance is fun and easy
