Segments from the “The Cardio Barre Workout” workout video: Non-stop ballet movements performed at two tempos. The faster intervals burn fat; the same motions at a little slower pace build lean muscle (eg a tondu series — controlled leg extensions for two minutes, then rapid leg swings for two minutes). All four workouts feature the same format and moves. But each program progressively increases the intensity (eg more reps, faster moves, larger range-of-motion … even a little louder music).
