Is this too fancy for school?

by admin on March 8, 2010

I recently got a grey button-up shirt from American Apparel (http://store.americanapparel.net/rsacp400w.html?cid=24&c=Oxford%20Grey) and I was wondering if I were to wear it to school with a pair of skinny jeans and Tory Burch ballet flats, would it look to fancy? I’m not exactly the brightest person when it comes to education, but I’m also not a social butterfly. I like my style to be different. So what are your opinions, too fancy or no?

Don’t American girls compete each other with best clothes anyway?

No offense but thats the way I see it,
lots of girls try to become the most popular by wearing the latest trends. Something like that!

N no it doesn’t sound too fancy, sounds good,
but I guess it depends on your school and the people.

Is that a chick or a guy? I cant tell…

wear what you want to school, as long as you like it and are comfortable wearing, then go for it.
You shouldnt care if its too fancy.
Go for it if you like it instead of caring how we weird stranger feel about it.

How is that too fancy??? It’s casual, but still a little girly-ness in it.

That’s not too fancy at all. If anything it’s tailored and smart, which is what teachers would expect pupils to wear to school. I see too many girls walking to school dressed like tramps. When did someone say ‘anything goes’ for school uniform?

That would look soo cute and a bit diferent. I LOVE Tory Burch flats (can’t afford them but LOVE them). Don’t worry that is perfect for the first day of school!
